Se Jong

Se Jong appears in the 1965 book, though it is unclear if it is an earlier or later pattern. I have not yet learned Se Jong, so I cannot comment on it much. Based on its structure, I would not be surprised if it were one of the latter created.

I'm afraid that I have not much to say about Se Jong. It is short, and the flow is very broken-up, so there isn't much time for a Karate kata sequence to fully form. It uses the Passai opening combined with its original ready position, but this was already done in Ul Ji.
